Name Change of the Oral Health Foundation of the Pierre Fauchard Academy

Effective July 31, 2024, the Oral Health Foundation of the Pierre Fauchard Academy will be changing its name to the Oral Health International Foundation and will no longer be affiliated with the Pierre Fauchard Academy. This change will expand its mission to promote the advancement of oral healthcare globally to those in need.

Since 1986, the Foundation has served as a leading philanthropic, non-profit organization promoting the advancement of oral healthcare globally. It was created to provide monetary grants to support those less fortunate. Since 1995, it has funded over 675 grants totaling $4,600,000 worldwide for charitable dentistry projects. In addition, the Foundation offers student scholarships on an annual basis to all dental schools in the United States, Canada, Australia, and selected dental schools worldwide. It has provided over $2,800,000 in financial support to future dentists.

The Oral Health International Foundation will continue to offer student scholarships and grants and look forward to expanding these programs.
